Holiday Overload Warning

How did the holidays sneak up on us like that?
The calendar is not our friend.  Grr....

Do you feel overwhelmed?
Do you have too much on your holiday check list?
Are you scrambling to keep up the long held family traditions?

Bingo!  The expectations are high.  "Not this year."  We're going to have a low-keyed Christmas.  Haven't you been saying that for the last decade?

Here's my warning: Holiday stress is hardly temporary.  It's actually a bigger helping of stress, with more side effects.  Your entire year is pretty much the same, just not at the breaking point we feel when a few more things are added to our plates.

So, let's get to the plate thing.  Your schedule is way too heavy.  You know that.
And when that happens, our meals take a nose-dive downward into the fast food-bad health abyss.

Let's take away that negativity.  One of my favorite health talks is on the creative side of food prep that is designed to be a time saver so you keep up with your holiday plans without overlooking your health.  Do you have to gain weight because Thanksgiving and Christmas are full of tempting foods?  Of course not.

When you pour over your favorite holiday recipes we can reduce their carb counts, swap out some of the craved foods for healthier items and ditch the gluten.
Just ask me which WildTree Products will help you stay on track with your diet.

You can do this!   Let your new food style be a source of confidence and success.

Let me know how I can help you with your food planning goals.

It's Squash Season: Make a Cheesy Squash Casserole !!

Butternut Squash Mac &  Cheese
This is one recipe I am definitely going to try.

I am thinking of using cauliflower instead of pasta and putting in some chunks of butternut squash along with the puree.  Another possibility is zucchini spirals and I can twirl it on my fork.

I also have a recipe for grain free lasagna noodles.  Ask me to email you the recipe.

Meal Solutions Make A Difference

Eating on the run or grabbing instant meals at the grocery store has a negative impact on health.

The most inflaming foods are grains, sugars, and seed oils.  They might taste good, but they send an acidic soup of inflammation to every organ.

Inflammation is the root problem of most every disease process. All the labs, blood pressure readings, tests, etc. go into the bad range when inflammation is out of control.

Yes, it takes practice to get the grains, sugars, and seed oils out of your diet.  It doesn't have to be intimidating or complicated.

Yes, some foods must be avoided.  But there are plenty of tasty alternatives that won't inflame.

Remember when you were a kid and you loved going with your class on field trips?  Well, I want to go on a field trip to your kitchen.  Bring some friends.  Let me be your food-style coach and show you how to the meal solution is your healing solution.
